Again, his name is "Craig Boehme"...sold me a guitar that was stored
improperly...$1400 on a D-28 that cracked 18 days after date of
purchase. He will not consider a refund.

Stuart,

Your description says the guitar started to fail two weeks
after you took delivery of it. Unless you have concrete evidence
that this dealer cared improperly for your guitar, you're looking at
a libel case with what you've written on a public forum.

You may consider taking a deep breath....issue some well
deserved apologies and try again with requesting advice here.

I think he's got a lot of gall. He's finally figured out that we were
telling him the truth about the condition of his guitar, and now, after
all the opprobrium he's cast about Martin and us, he goes after the guy
who sold him the guitar, and he's surprised that the guy doesn't want to
play.

Well Randolf, you've managed to arouse the ire of a large group of
knowelgeable guitar pickers by unjustifiably dumping all over Martin, and
now you're trying to piss into a mail-order dealers' campfire. You
clearly haven't a clue about the issues surrounding climate control and
general instrument care and maintenance, but insist on vilifying everyone
else involved in your unfortunate transaction. Hopefully at some point
you'll run out of potential victims and will draw breath long enough to
consider that maybe, just maybe, you may have had a little to do with the
situation.
I feel sorry for that poor Martin. Guitars don't get to choose who buys

When he finally disclosed, after several posts, that he purchased it off
ebay, I realized he witheld that fact because it underminded his ignorant
rant about Martin, the company. Then he went the direction of trying to
elicit sympathy about buying a guitar he hadn't heard. I think he's a nut
job.

There was a person with the same name who was recently arrested in Ft Worth Texas for stealing a 1943 Gibson acoustic guitar and selling to someone in Ireland. Same guy as the seller in the original post? Here is the article:
