It's been awhile since Shaidri and I played a Wednesday evening at
Threadgill's Old No. 1 in north Austin. This coming Wednesday we're
going to cover for Riley Osbourn and Floyd Domino who have been
delivering their Four Hands Boogie Woogie amazement (a modern version of
Albert Ammons and Meade Lux Lewis) in an ongoing residency. Talk about
piano playing, whew.

We'll play 7 to 9:30PM, and admission is free.

I haven't played Lubbock since 1975. You won't have to tune. Up there
you can play flat. People expect flatness there.
