Tony was in business with Pete Howlett at that time - according to Howlett, he
was the actual buildeer - but shortly after they had an acrimonious parting of
the ways.
I have no idea what Tony is doing nowadays.
I was very impressed with the Angel guitars and, in fact, placed a sizeable
order for them at the Arlington Show, but only a very few ever arrived before
the partners split, which left me high and dry having spent a small fortune on
expensive magazine ads.
OUCH!
John Pearse.
Dear John, I immediately bought an Angel after seeing what I thought was a toy guitar and then hearing it roar like a lion - at Music Makers music store in Austin from George Strait's song writer (name?) who said: I love the sound but the damn thing just don't write no songs!
I loved that little guitar until the action raised up and it started going out of tune as the top failed. I still have it if it would be of interest to you, let me know, as I'm thinning my heard.

It’s been a while since your post so this is a long shot. Do you still have the Tony Revell guitar? I had one years ago and regret selling it.
