Hi,
I'm looking at possibly buying a used Martin SP000C-16E. Looks nice, but since
I won't be able to try it first, does anyone have any thoughts on this model?
What's the neck shape like? How are the electronics? Overall tone?

I imagine, it being a small bodied mahogany/spruce guitar, it should be a good
finger-picker........but is a decnt all-around instrument?

Finally, what would expect to pay for one in very good condition (just a few
minor top dings...cosmetic only)?

Any help is MUCH appreciated!

Thanks,
Jim Fogarty

I can't find the SP000C-16E in the catalogue, but the 000C-16 GTE
(mahogany), RGTE (rosewood), are:-

Body length 19 1/8
body width 15 3/16
Body depth 4 1/8
Scale 25.4
F/B at neck 1 11/16

The 000-16GT (mahogany) and RGT (rosewood) are the same except for a 19
3/8 body length

The 000-16SGT (mahogany slothead) is :-

Body length 19 3/8
body width 15 1/8
Body depth 4 1/8
Scale 25.4
F/B at neck 1 3/4
12 fret neck

Hope this is all correct, I nearly went crosseyed trying to read the lists.

HTH.
