Newport Guitar Festival

For those of you who haven't heard about it, check into the Newport Guitar
Festival - first weekend in august - same weekend as the Newport Folk
Festival. The first one two years ago was really swell. Look it up here:

Seriously, this is a fabulous show in a beautiful town with lots of good

Charles, those guitars are beautiful! I will definitely stop by your
booth and say hello. I live a few hours away from Newport, and there
seems to be quite a buzz about the festival this year among the locals.
Two years ago the only folks I knew who attended were rmmga'ers. This
is going to be a great show!

Reasonably priced accomodations?

Just a country boy. Around here $175 will buy you a car, not just a
night in a motel. OK, maybe the car doesn't run, but it coud with just
a little work . . .

Lovely. Something about the woods/binding and plantilla of the
germa/madrose guitar reminds me of Hauser I. I'd love to take them on a
spin.
