Guitar Strings Recycle / Donation

There use to be a guy that took old strings, new strings, used strings,
donated strings, any strings and provided them to kids in 3rd world
nations, charities, prisons, and so forth.

He pooped out a year or two ago and posted on his facebook page that he
was looking for an alternative.

Does anybody know of such an org that does this kind of thing. I got a
lot of stuff they want.

Thanks, Hank. Unfortunately every button on the page returns a "Page
not found" error. Poking around, this seems to be the same folks I was
referring to above. The facebook location seems to have life stirring
recently, the first since summer 2014.
